صيغة محسوبة لزمن البروثرومبين تصحح الفروق بين كواشف الثرومبوبلاستين، وفق المعادلة INR = (زمن المريض / متوسط الزمن الطبيعي) مرفوعاً إلى أس ISI الخاص بالكاشف. تتيح مقارنة نتائج مرضى الوارفارين بين المختبرات. الهدف العلاجي المعتاد لمعظم الاستطبابات بين 2 و3.
Definition
A calculated form of the prothrombin time that corrects for differences between thromboplastin reagents: INR = (patient PT / mean normal PT) raised to the power of the reagent's ISI. It allows results for warfarin patients to be compared across labs. The usual therapeutic target for most indications is 2 to 3.
