التقييم الخارجي للجودة هو تقييم أداء المختبر من قبل جهة خارجية ترسل العينات المجهولة القيمة نفسها إلى عدد من المختبرات ثم تقارن النتائج. يطلب معيار ISO 15189:2022 المشاركة فيه حيثما يتوفر برنامج مناسب، وهو يكشف الانحياز المنهجي الذي لا يظهر في الضبط الداخلي، كخطأ معايرة يتكرر في كل الدورات.
Definition
External quality assessment is the evaluation of a laboratory's performance by an outside organisation that sends the same unknown samples to many laboratories and compares the results. ISO 15189:2022 requires participation where a suitable scheme is available, and it reveals systematic bias that internal QC cannot see, such as a calibration offset shared by all runs.
