نسبة الحجم النهائي إلى حجم العينة في التمديد، فجزء واحد من العينة مع تسعة أجزاء من الممدد يعطي معاملاً قدره 10. تُضرب النتيجة المقاسة بهذا المعامل، وأي خطأ في المعامل المُدخل على الجهاز أو في نظام المختبر ينتقل مباشرة إلى النتيجة المصدرة.
Definition
The ratio of the final volume to the sample volume in a dilution, so 1 part sample plus 9 parts diluent gives a factor of 10. The measured result is multiplied by this factor, and an error in the factor entered on the analyzer or LIS passes straight into the reported value.
