السائل المستعمل لتمديد العينة أو الكاشف أو الكونترول، مثل المحلول الملحي أو الماء أو محلول تحدده الشركة. استعمال ممدد غير مناسب عند تمديد عينة فوق مجال القياس قد يسبب تأثير الوسط، لذلك يُستعمل فقط الممدد المذكور في نشرة الاستخدام.
Definition
The liquid used to dilute a sample, reagent or control, such as saline, water or a solution specified by the manufacturer. Using the wrong diluent for a sample above the measuring range can cause matrix effects, so use only the diluent named in the instructions for use.
