قدرة الكشف مصطلح جامع يصف قدرة الطريقة على قياس الكميات المنخفضة جداً من المادة المقيسة، ويُعبر عنها بحد الناصع وحد الكشف وحد التقدير الكمي وفق دليل CLSI EP17. تزداد أهميتها في التحاليل التي تُتخذ فيها القرارات عند قيم منخفضة، كالتروبونين عالي الحساسية وTSH وPSA بعد استئصال البروستات.
Definition
Detection capability is the collective term for how well a method measures very low amounts of analyte, described by the limit of blank, limit of detection and limit of quantitation in CLSI EP17. It matters most for tests where low values drive decisions, such as high-sensitivity troponin, TSH or PSA after prostatectomy.
