فاصل الثقة مجال من القيم يُتوقع أن يحوي القيمة الحقيقية لمعامل إحصائي، مثل المتوسط أو الانحياز، باحتمال محدد غالباً 95%. في التحقق من الطريقة يُقارن فاصل الثقة للانحياز بالحد المقبول، فإذا شمل الصفر فلا دليل إحصائياً على وجود انحياز.
Definition
A confidence interval is a range of values expected to contain the true value of a statistic, such as a mean or bias, with a stated probability, usually 95%. In method verification the bias confidence interval is compared with the allowable limit, and if it includes zero there is no statistical evidence of bias.
