الحساسية التحليلية هي مقدار تغير استجابة الطريقة لكل وحدة تغير في تركيز المادة المقيسة، أي ميل منحنى المعايرة. كثيراً ما يُستخدم المصطلح خطأً بمعنى حد الكشف، ويجب عدم الخلط بينه وبين الحساسية التشخيصية التي تصف نسبة المرضى الذين تكون نتيجتهم إيجابية.
Definition
Analytical sensitivity is the change in a method's response per unit change in analyte concentration, which is the slope of the calibration curve. The term is often misused to mean the limit of detection, and it should not be confused with diagnostic sensitivity, which describes how many affected patients test positive.
