تحليل يُطلب بعد وصول العينة إلى المختبر، ويُجرى على العينة المحفوظة إذا سمح الحجم والثبات. يتحقق المختبر من الزمن المنقضي منذ الجمع مقارنة ببيانات الثبات قبل قبول الطلب. فالبوتاسيوم المطلوب لاحقاً على عينة غير مفصولة عمرها 10 ساعات لا يعطي نتيجة موثوقة.
Definition
A test requested after the sample has already reached the lab, performed on the stored sample if volume and stability allow. The lab checks the time since collection against stability data before accepting it. An add-on potassium on a 10-hour-old unseparated sample, for example, would not be reliable.
