الانحدار طريقة إحصائية ترسم أفضل خط يصف العلاقة بين متغيرين، مثل نتائج طريقة جديدة مقابل الطريقة الحالية على العينات نفسها. في مقارنة الطرق يُفضَّل انحدار ديمينغ أو باسينغ بابلوك على الانحدار العادي، لأن الطريقتين كلتيهما تحملان خطأ قياس.
Definition
Regression is a statistical method that fits the line best describing the relationship between two variables, such as results from a new method plotted against the current method on the same samples. In method comparison, Deming or Passing-Bablok regression is preferred over ordinary least squares because both methods carry measurement error.
