مؤشر الجودة مقياس لمدى تلبية مجموعة من الخصائص للمتطلبات، يُتابع مع الزمن لإحدى عمليات المختبر وفق ISO 15189:2022. من أمثلته نسبة العينات المنحلة ونتائج التقييم الخارجي وزمن إنجاز التحليل، ولكل مؤشر هدف محدد، فإذا ارتفعت نسبة العينات المرفوضة فوقه وجب اتخاذ إجراء.
Definition
A quality indicator is a measure of the degree to which a set of inherent characteristics fulfils requirements, tracked over time for a laboratory process (ISO 15189:2022). Examples are the percentage of haemolysed samples, EQA scores and turnaround time, and each indicator has a target so that a rise in rejected samples above it prompts action.
