ضبط الجودة هو مجموعة الإجراءات العملية التي تتحقق من أن التحليل يعمل كما هو متوقع، وذلك أساساً بتمرير مواد ضبط معروفة القيمة ومقارنة نتائجها بحدود محددة مسبقاً. وهو الذي يقرر يومياً إن كان يمكن إصدار نتائج المرضى، فإذا خرج كونترول الغلوكوز عن حدوده تُحجز نتائج الغلوكوز حتى يُحل الخلل.
Definition
Quality control is the set of operational techniques used to check that an examination performs as intended, mainly by measuring control materials with known expected values and judging the results against set limits. In daily work it decides whether patient results from a run can be released, for example holding glucose results when the glucose control falls outside its limits.
