مقارنة الطرق دراسة تُقاس فيها عينات المرضى نفسها بالطريقة الجديدة وبطريقة المقارنة لتقدير الانحياز بينهما، كما يصفها دليل CLSI EP09. يُستخدم عادة نحو 40 عينة تغطي مجال القياس، ولأن معامل الارتباط وحده لا يكشف الانحياز تُقيَّم النتائج بمخططات الفروق والانحدار.
Definition
A method comparison is a study in which the same patient samples are measured by a new method and a comparator method to estimate the bias between them, as described in CLSI EP09. Around 40 samples covering the measuring interval are commonly used, and because the correlation coefficient alone cannot show bias, results are assessed with difference plots and regression.
