نظام القياس هو مجموعة الأجهزة والكواشف والمعايِرات والبرمجيات التي تعمل معاً لإعطاء قيم لكمية محددة. عند تغيير أي مكوّن فيه، مثل استبدال كاشف الشركة بكاشف من مصدر آخر على الجهاز نفسه، يصبح نظاماً جديداً يحتاج إلى تحقق من أدائه.
Definition
A measuring system is the set of instruments, reagents, calibrators and software that work together to give values for a specified quantity. Changing any component, such as replacing the manufacturer's reagent with one from another supplier on the same analyser, creates a new system whose performance needs verification.
