ضبط الجودة الخارجي تسمية قديمة للتقييم الخارجي للجودة، حيث ترسل جهة خارجية عينات إلى المختبر وتقارن نتائجه بنتائج المشاركين الآخرين. المصطلح المعتمد حالياً هو التقييم الخارجي، لأن العملية تقيّم أداءً سابقاً ولا تضبط الدورات لحظة بلحظة كما يفعل الضبط الداخلي.
Definition
External quality control is an older name for external quality assessment, in which an outside body sends samples to the laboratory and compares its results with other participants. The current term is EQA because the process assesses past performance and does not control runs in real time the way internal QC does.
