سرعة تحويل الإنزيم لمادته الأساس، وبها يُعبر عن نتائج ALT وAST وALP وGGT وCK بوحدة U/L. يعتمد النشاط على الحرارة ودرجة الحموضة وتركيبة الكاشف، لذلك يوصى بطرق IFCC المرجعية على حرارة 37 درجة. نتائج الطرق المختلفة ليست دائماً قابلة للمقارنة.
Definition
The rate at which an enzyme converts its substrate, used to express results for ALT, AST, ALP, GGT and CK in units per liter (U/L). Activity depends on temperature, pH and reagent formulation, so IFCC reference methods at 37 °C are recommended. Results from different methods are not always comparable.
