طريقة لاختبار الحساسية تُوضع فيها أقراص المضادات على صفيحة آغار مزروعة بمعلق معاير، ثم يُقاس قطر منطقة انعدام النمو بعد الحضن. تحتاج إلى آغار مولر هنتون بعمق صحيح ولقاح 0.5 ماكفارلاند، لأن الانحرافات الصغيرة تغير أقطار المناطق.
Definition
A susceptibility method in which antibiotic disks are placed on an agar plate inoculated with a standardized suspension, and the zone of no growth is measured after incubation. It needs Mueller-Hinton agar of the correct depth and a 0.5 McFarland inoculum, because small deviations change zone sizes.
