انحدار ديمينغ نوع من الانحدار الخطي يأخذ في الحساب خطأ القياس في الطريقتين كلتيهما، بينما يفترض الانحدار العادي أن المتغير السيني خالٍ من الخطأ. يُستعمل في مقارنة الطرق عندما تكون البيانات موزعة توزيعاً طبيعياً تقريباً ونسبة عدم الإحكام بين الطريقتين معروفة.
Definition
Deming regression is a linear regression that allows for measurement error in both methods, whereas ordinary regression assumes the x variable is error-free. It is used in method comparison when data are roughly normally distributed and the ratio of the two methods' imprecision is known.
