حد القرار السريري قيمة تُحدد من الدراسات السريرية أو الإرشادات، يوصى فوقها أو تحتها بإجراء سريري معين. يختلف عن المجال المرجعي، فمثلاً HbA1c بقيمة 48 ملمول/مول (6.5%) هو حد تشخيص السكري، وينبغي أن يركز ضبط الجودة والتحقق على الأداء قرب هذه الحدود.
Definition
A clinical decision limit is a result value, set from clinical studies or guidelines, above or below which a specific clinical action is recommended. It differs from the reference interval, for example an HbA1c of 48 mmol/mol (6.5%) is the diagnostic threshold for diabetes, and QC and verification should focus on performance near such limits.
