اختبار مخبري لاستجابة العزلة للمضادات الميكروبية، بطريقة الانتشار بالأقراص أو التمديد الدقيق في المرق أو شرائط التدرج أو الأنظمة الآلية، ويُفسر بحدود CLSI أو EUCAST. تُذكر في التقرير فقط المضادات المناسبة للجرثوم ولموضع الإنتان.
Definition
Laboratory testing of how an isolate responds to antimicrobial agents, by disk diffusion, broth microdilution, gradient strips or automated systems, interpreted with CLSI or EUCAST breakpoints. The report should list only agents relevant to the organism and the site of infection.
