تحليل البول بالمعاينة الفيزيائية والشريط الكيميائي (الغلوكوز والبروتين والدم وإستراز الكريات البيضاء والنتريت وغيرها) والفحص المجهري أو جهاز الرواسب الآلي. يستخدم للتحري عن أمراض الكلية والتهاب المسالك البولية والسكري. يجب تحليل العينة خلال ساعتين من جمعها لأن الخلايا تتحلل والجراثيم تتكاثر.
Definition
Examination of urine by physical inspection, chemical dipstick (glucose, protein, blood, leukocyte esterase, nitrite and others) and microscopy or an automated sediment analyzer. It screens for kidney disease, urinary tract infection and diabetes. Samples should be tested within 2 hours of collection, since cells lyse and bacteria multiply.
