التحليل نصف الكمي هو تحليل يعطي نتيجة على مقياس مرتب من درجات تقريبية، مثل شرائط البول التي تعطي البروتين سلبي أو + أو ++ أو +++. يفيد في الفرز السريع، لكن درجته أقل تفصيلاً من الرقم، فتحتاج النتيجة المرتفعة غالباً إلى تأكيد بتحليل كمي.
Definition
A semi-quantitative test gives a result on an ordered scale of approximate grades, such as urine dipsticks reporting protein as negative, +, ++ or +++. It is useful for quick screening, but the grade lacks the resolution of a number, so a raised result often needs a quantitative test to confirm it.
