متفاعل وصف لنتيجة مقايسة مناعية تحرٍّ تساوي قيمة القطع أو تتجاوزها، ويعني أن العينة أعطت إشارة دون أن يثبت ذلك وجود العدوى بعد. تستخدمه تقارير المصليات لفيروس HIV وHBsAg وHCV بدلاً من كلمة إيجابي إلى أن يكتمل الاختبار أو المسار التأكيدي.
Definition
Reactive is the term for a screening immunoassay result at or above the cutoff, showing that the sample produced a signal without yet proving infection. Serology reports for HIV, HBsAg or HCV use it instead of positive until a confirmatory test or algorithm has been completed.
