تحليل تخثر على بلازما السترات يقيس زمن تشكل الخثرة بعد إضافة الثرومبوبلاستين والكالسيوم، ويعكس السبيل الخارجي والمشترك (العوامل السابع والعاشر والخامس والثاني والفيبرينوجين). يُعطى بالثواني وبصيغة INR للمرضى على الوارفارين. نقص ملء الأنبوب وتأخير التحليل قد يطيلانه زيفاً.
Definition
A clotting test on citrated plasma that measures the time to clot after adding thromboplastin and calcium, reflecting the extrinsic and common pathways (factors VII, X, V, II and fibrinogen). It is reported in seconds and as the INR for patients on warfarin. Underfilled tubes and delayed testing can prolong it falsely.
