قطعة حمض نووي موسومة ترتبط بتسلسل محدد داخل ناتج التضخيم وتعطي تألقاً عند وجود الهدف، كما في مسابير التحلل المائي (TaqMan). تضيف المسابير نوعية فوق نوعية البادئات، ويُقرأ كل لون من ألوان المسابير في قناة ضوئية خاصة به.
Definition
A labelled nucleic acid fragment that binds to a specific sequence inside the amplicon and produces fluorescence when the target is present, as with hydrolysis (TaqMan) probes. Probes add specificity beyond the primers, and each probe colour is read in its own optical channel.
