النتيجة غير الصالحة نتيجة لا يمكن إصدارها لأن الضوابط أو آليات التحقق الداخلية للتحليل فشلت، كغياب خط الضبط في الاختبار السريع أو ظهور علامة خطأ أو فشل الضابط الداخلي في PCR. لا تقدم أي معلومة عن المريض، لذلك يُعاد تمرير العينة أو تُطلب عينة جديدة.
Definition
An invalid result is a test outcome that cannot be reported because the test's own controls or checks failed, such as a missing control line on a rapid test, an error flag, or a failed internal control in PCR. It gives no information about the patient, so the sample is re-run or a new sample is requested.
