الأمراض الإنتانية أمراض تسببها أحياء دقيقة ممرضة أو سمومها، ومنها ما ينتقل بين الأشخاص. يثبتها المخبر بالكشف المباشر عن العامل الممرض بالزرع أو المستضد أو التحليل الجزيئي، أو بطريقة غير مباشرة بقياس الأضداد في المصل، ويختار الطريقة حسب مرحلة المرض، فالأضداد قد لا تظهر في الأيام الأولى.
Definition
Infectious diseases are illnesses caused by pathogenic microorganisms or their toxins, some of them passed between people. The laboratory confirms them directly by culture, antigen or molecular detection, or indirectly by measuring antibodies in serum. The method depends on the stage of illness, since antibodies may not yet be present in the first days.
