التعريف
نسبة حجم الدم التي تشغلها الكريات الحمراء، ويعبر عنها بنسبة مئوية أو ل/ل. تحسبها الأجهزة من تعداد الكريات الحمراء وMCV، أما الطريقة اليدوية فتقيس حجم الخلايا المكدسة بعد طرد أنبوب شعري. في العينات سوية الكريات يساوي تقريباً ثلاثة أضعاف الهيموغلوبين بوحدة غ/دل، وهي قاعدة مفيدة للتحقق.
Definition
The fraction of blood volume occupied by red cells, reported as a percentage or L/L. Analyzers calculate it from the red cell count and MCV, while the manual method measures packed cells after centrifuging a capillary tube. In normocytic samples it is roughly three times the hemoglobin in g/dL, which is a useful check.
