التعريف
سلامة البيانات هي أن تبقى البيانات كاملة ودقيقة ومتسقة وقابلة للتتبع طوال عمرها، من خروجها من الجهاز حتى أرشفتها. يلخصها مبدأ ALCOA، أي أن تكون منسوبة لشخص ومقروءة ومسجلة في وقتها وأصلية ودقيقة، ويهددها مثلاً نسخ النتائج يدوياً أو مشاركة كلمات المرور.
Definition
Data integrity means data stay complete, accurate, consistent and traceable throughout their life, from leaving the analyzer to being archived. It is summed up by the ALCOA principle, attributable, legible, contemporaneous, original and accurate, and is threatened by practices such as copying results by hand or sharing passwords.
