رقم دورة PCR التي يرتفع فيها تألق التفاعل فوق العتبة المحددة. انخفاض Ct يعني كمية ابتدائية أكبر من الهدف، ويقابل الفرق العشري نحو 3.3 دورات عند الكفاءة الكاملة، ولا تُقارن قيم Ct بين مقايسات مختلفة مقارنة مباشرة.
Definition
The PCR cycle number at which the fluorescence of a reaction rises above the set threshold. A lower Ct means more starting target, with roughly 3.3 cycles per tenfold difference at full efficiency, and Ct values from different assays should not be compared directly.
