التعريف
طريقة المقارنة هي الطريقة المعتمدة التي تُقارن بها الطريقة الجديدة في دراسة مقارنة الطرق، ويُفضَّل أن تكون طريقة مرجعية أو الطريقة الروتينية الحالية في المختبر. ينتقل انحيازها إلى نتيجة المقارنة، فإذا كانت طريقة الغلوكوز القديمة تعطي قيماً مرتفعة ستبدو الطريقة الجديدة الصحيحة وكأنها تعطي قيماً منخفضة.
Definition
A comparator method is the established method against which a new method is compared in a method comparison study, ideally a reference method or the lab's current routine method. Its own bias carries into the comparison, so if the old glucose method read high, a correct new method will appear to read low.
