مادة بيولوجية قادرة على الإضرار بصحة الإنسان، مثل العينات المعدية والمزارع والنفايات الملوثة، وكذلك الرمز الدولي الذي يدل عليها. يوضع الرمز على صناديق نقل العينات وحاويات النفايات المعدية والبرادات التي تحفظ العينات وأبواب الغرف التي تُتداول فيها هذه المواد.
Definition
A biological substance that can harm human health, such as infectious specimens, cultures or contaminated waste, and the international symbol used to mark it. The symbol belongs on sample transport boxes, infectious waste containers, refrigerators holding specimens and the doors of rooms where such material is handled.
