بروتوكول ASTM هو معيار قديم وشائع لربط أجهزة التحليل بنظام المعلومات، يحدد طبقة النقل وبنية الرسالة المؤلفة من سجلات للرأس والمريض والطلب والنتيجة. انتقلت صيانته إلى CLSI باسمي LIS1 وLIS2، وما زالت معظم أجهزة الكيمياء والدم الحالية تتحدث به عبر منفذ تسلسلي أو شبكة.
Definition
The ASTM protocol is an older but widespread standard for connecting analyzers to an information system, defining the transport layer and a message made of header, patient, order and result records. Its maintenance moved to CLSI as LIS1 and LIS2, and most current chemistry and haematology analyzers still use it over a serial or network link.
