ابيضاض الدم الحاد ورم خبيث في الخلايا المكونة للدم تتكاثر فيه الأرومات غير الناضجة في نقي العظم والدم، وتقسمه التصنيفات إلى نقوي ولمفاوي. يبدأ الكشف المخبري بتعداد الدم الكامل ولطاخة الدم، ثم يُثبت بتحليل نقي العظم وقياس الجريان الخلوي والوراثة الخلوية والتحاليل الجزيئية التي تحدد النوع.
Definition
Acute leukaemia is a malignancy of blood-forming cells in which immature blasts accumulate in the bone marrow and blood, classified as myeloid or lymphoblastic. Laboratory work starts with a complete blood count and blood smear, then bone marrow examination, flow cytometry, cytogenetics and molecular tests that define the subtype.
