الترميز بالاسم المستعار هو استبدال اسم المريض ومعرفاته برمز، مع حفظ مفتاح الربط منفصلاً وتحت حماية، فلا يمكن معرفة الشخص دون هذا المفتاح. تبقى البيانات شخصية من الناحية القانونية، ويُستخدم مثلاً عند إرسال عينات إلى مختبر مرجعي أو مشاركة بيانات لبحث مع إمكانية الرجوع إلى المريض.
Definition
Pseudonymisation replaces a patient's name and identifiers with a code, while the key linking them is stored separately and protected, so the person cannot be identified without it. The data remain personal data in law, and the method is used, for example, when sharing results for research while keeping the ability to trace back to the patient.
