مادة معروف خلوها من الهدف تمر بكامل الإجراء لتثبت عدم حدوث تلوث أو إشارة كاذبة. ظهور إشارة في الكونترول السلبي يبطل الدورة، ويجب إعادة النتائج الإيجابية للمرضى في تلك الدورة.
Definition
A material known to lack the target that is taken through the full procedure to show that no contamination or false signal occurred. A signal in the negative control invalidates the run, and positive patient results from that run must be repeated.
