إنزيم يوجد أساساً في خلايا الكبد، ويقاس نشاطه بوحدة U/L. هو أكثر الناقلات الأمينية الروتينية نوعية للكبد، ويرتفع في التهاب الكبد والكبد الدهني والسمية الدوائية. تختلف الحدود المرجعية بحسب الطريقة والجنس، لذلك يذكرها المختبر في التقرير.
Definition
An enzyme found mainly in liver cells, measured as activity in U/L. It is the most liver-specific of the routine transaminases and rises in hepatitis, fatty liver disease and drug toxicity. Reference limits differ by method and sex, so the lab states them on the report.
