التحكم في الوصول حسب الدور هو منح الصلاحيات في النظام بحسب الدور الوظيفي بدل ضبطها لكل شخص على حدة، فموظف الاستقبال يسجل العينات، والفني يدخل النتائج، والمشرف وحده يعتمدها. يسهّل إدارة الصلاحيات عند توظيف موظف جديد، ويمنع أن يعتمد من لا يملك الكفاءة نتيجة.
Definition
Role-based access control grants system permissions according to job role instead of setting them person by person, so reception registers samples, technicians enter results and only a supervisor authorises them. It makes permissions easy to manage when someone new joins and stops an unqualified user from authorising a result.
