التضخيم الجزيئي مضاعفة تسلسل محدد من الحمض النووي أو إشارته إلى كمية يمكن كشفها، كما في PCR والتضخيم متساوي الحرارة LAMP. يتيح كشف عدد قليل من نسخ العامل الممرض، لكن نواتج التضخيم نفسها مصدر تلوث قوي، لذلك تُفصل مناطق التحضير عن مناطق التضخيم ويُستخدم كونترول بلا قالب في كل دورة.
Definition
Molecular amplification copies a specific nucleic acid sequence, or its signal, up to a detectable amount, as in PCR and LAMP. It allows detection of a few copies of a pathogen, but the amplicons themselves are a strong contamination source, so preparation and amplification areas are kept apart and a no-template control is run in every run.
