تفاعل البوليميراز المتسلسل المناعي تقنية تجمع بين مقايسة مناعية تشبه الإليزا وتضخيم PCR، إذ يُربط الضد بقطعة DNA تُضخم بدل التفاعل اللوني. يسمح ذلك بكشف تراكيز من البروتينات أو المستضدات أدنى بكثير من الإليزا التقليدية، لكنه ما زال أداة بحثية في الغالب ويتطلب ضبطًا صارمًا للتلوث.
Definition
Immuno-PCR combines an ELISA-like immunoassay with PCR amplification, with the antibody linked to a DNA tag that is amplified in place of a colour reaction. This lets it detect proteins or antigens at far lower concentrations than conventional ELISA, though it remains mainly a research tool and needs strict contamination control.
