نتيجة جزيئية نوعية تعني أن التسلسل المستهدف وُجد فوق عتبة الكشف في المقايسة مع صلاحية الضوابط. تدل على وجود الحمض النووي، وهذا وحده لا يثبت وجود كائنات حية أو إنتاناً فعالاً، كما في حالة سل عولج سابقاً.
Definition
A qualitative molecular result meaning the target sequence was found above the assay's detection threshold with valid controls. It shows the nucleic acid is present, which does not by itself prove live organisms or active infection, for example after treated tuberculosis.
