ناتج DNA الذي يتكون في تفاعل التضخيم منسوخاً عن التسلسل المستهدف. توجد نواتج التضخيم بأعداد هائلة وتنتشر بسهولة عبر الرذاذ والقفازات والماصات، ولذلك فإن فتح أنابيب التفاعل بعد التضخيم هو المصدر الرئيسي للتلوث في المختبر الجزيئي.
Definition
The DNA product of an amplification reaction, copied from the target sequence. Amplicons are present in huge numbers and spread easily on aerosols, gloves and pipettes, so opening reaction tubes after amplification is the main source of contamination in a molecular lab.
